National Annual symposium for “search and rescue (SAR)” workgroup in Tehran
As a result of global warming and instant climate change, in addition to growing number of skilled climbers who owing to age or stress are in danger of heart attacks, also considering unskilled people who are trapped in nature, portable and lightweight devices are required in critical conditions and traumatic circumstances. In this meeting with officials, directors and successors of the heads of Climbing Federation, the Red Crescent Federation and the deputy interior minister, the importance of these portable equipment such as portable ventilators of Automedx and AEDs of CardiAid in critical situations was discussed due to the significant improvement they cause in performance and productivity of non-specialists as well as quick and simple usage in stressful rescue situations. Thus, decisions with the aim of preventing these accidents were made and necessities were assessed accordingly.
