LIVe+ Ventilator (Adapt.Vent)

LIVe+ is designed to be safe to use and prevent respiratory traumas.

The LIVe+ is a time cycled, adaptive flow, volume-targeted device with a peak inspiratory pressure limit of 38 cmH2O designed as a safety measure to prevent barotrauma. The LIVe+ delivers a variable tidal volume at a variable respiratory rate with respect to patient lung’s compliance.

The LIVe+ does not require a compressed gas source to operate. Instead, it uses a rechargeable battery driven pump to deliver ambient air to the patient. Actual runtime depends on many factors including the patient’s lung compliance, ambient temperature during operation, the storage temperature and elapsed time since the last charge. When the battery is low, the unit can be connected to an external power supply. Performance of device on external power supply is identical to the performance of the device on battery. The battery will be recharged while the unit is running.
